champfered on one side
ground to tolerance h5
Material: metal carbides K40 UF
K40 UF is an ultra-fine grain grade with high toughness, high hardness and wear resistance.
The fine grain size improves edge stability and reduces the risk of microcracks.
Compared to harder, more brittle grades, K40F offers excellent fracture resistance
and is therefore very well suited for interrupted cuts or tools subject to impact.
Even at higher temperatures, its formability and cutting ability remain stable.
Very well suited for machining titanium alloys, heat-resistant alloys, austenitic stainless steels, grey cast iron and GRP.
Recommended for the manufacture of drills, milling cutters, reamers, threading tools,
for rotating tools for machining hardened parts and for roughing and finishing,
in punching and forming technology as punches, dies or guide pins.
Length 100F chamfered on one side.
Lengths 100 and 330 without chamfers (see SM 1007-1).
RoHS-compliant: yes
Ground carbide round bars are high-precision tools used in metalworking.
They are indispensable for demanding cutting and punching work,
especially in the tool and mold making industry.
