The clamping holes of the SM 1701 cross clamp connectors are machined
and designed for SM 1780 or DIN 2391, DIN 2395 and DIN 2462 construction tubes.
At the screw points z, the cheese head screws reduce the bore cross-section for clamping.
If clamping is to be carried out without tools, the cheese head screws can be replaced
by an adjustable clamping lever SM 1720 (for aluminium cross clamp connectors)
or SM 1721 (for stainless steel connectors) specified in the table as an accessory.
