The main dimensions of the SM 1238 eyebolts correspond to DIN 444,
but are manufactured to the precision required primarily in machine and fixture construction.
The specified tolerances are smaller than those required in the DIN product classes.

The official standard sheet also specifies the threads M05, M24, M30 and M36
as well as a variety of screw lengths "I1" for each size.
Deviating from the standard sheet, the dimension "I2" is longerand,
the steel version is manufactured in grade 5.8 and the stainless steel version in 1.4305.
