The wedge effect of the clamping jaws presses the workpiece firmly and securely onto the machine table. The horizontal forces are absorbed by a screw corresponding to the groove size, which clamps the clamp perfectly without damaging the table.
The specified clamping forces are achieved with optimum design of the fastening screws and utilization of the maximum permissible torque.
The pull-down force F2 is achieved with a smooth workpiece surface.
h1: At maximum T-slot depth according to DIN 650.
To achieve lower clamping heights with minimum T-slot depth, the clamping piece can be ground down by x mm.
