Hygienic Design
These laches are intended for use in hygienic areas and meet hygiene requirements on the operating side (front hygiene).
Two seals keep the locking mechanism tight. At the same time, the high surface quality (Ra < 0.8 μm) and the fastening without dead space prevent dirt from adhering and facilitate cleaning.

The latches lock by means of an actuation rotation limited to 90°.
A latch spacing g of 6 to 28 mm can be covered by different cranked latches.
For the sealing rings to function reliably, the mounting holes on the housing must be right-angled, burr-free and without chamfer.

Delivery: loosely enclosed latch arm.

Mounting instructions
The lock housing is inserted from the front through the mounting hole and screwed on from the rear with the fastening nut.
The bolt is fastened with the hexagon head screw.

Commercially available wipers are not suitable for this purpose due to a 45° chamfer on the inner edge of the sealing lip. As delivered, or unassembled, the wipers have the “actual dimensions” as stated in the table. To guarantee a secure fit and a reliable seal, the specified installation space must be provided at the bearing position.
