The threaded studs SM 1273-833 made of steel and stainless steel are corrosion-protected.
Due to their improved corrosion and weather resistance, the stainless steel variants are
well suited for outdoor use.
Pressing = unlocking
Pressing the operating button releases the locking of the threaded segments
and the lifting pin can be moved in and out of the mounting thread.
This eliminates the time-consuming screwing in and unscrewingas with an eyebolt, forexample.
The shackle can be swiveled 180°, rotated on all sides and always aligns itself in the direction of pull when lifting without the bolt turning.
As a result, the threaded load-bearing bolt is not turned out of the thread and the
the component can be lifted safely.
A safety bar protects the actuating button against unintentional release.
No special carrying aids required on the workpiece.
Threaded studs must be inserted into threads containing gauges.
Press the button in and hold it down | Insert the threaded stud bolt | Release the button (the button must be in the initial position again) | Turn the threaded stud bolt by hand until it is in full contact with the bearing surface. | It must be ensured that the threaded segments are engaged in the mounting thread; the threaded elements must be locked automatically by the spring force.
The knob (A) is locked when it is sprung back into its original position by the spring force.
Do not operate the knob under load!
Turn the threaded support bolt approximately a quarter turn counterclockwise | Press the button and hold it down | Pull out the ball support bolt | Release the button.
Notes:
- Threaded lifting pins are designed for lifting and holding individual loads (no people!!).
- Threaded lifting pins are not suitable for continuous rotation of the load.
- Contamination (e.g. grinding sludge, oil and emulsion deposits, dust...) can impair the function of threaded lifting pins.
- Before each use, threaded lifting pins must be inspected for visible defects (e.g. deformations, fractures, cracks, damage, missing balls, corrosion, unlocking function).
- Threaded studs must be fully screwed into a thread containing a gauge and must be in full contact with the bearing surface.
- When inserting a threaded lifting pin, the load must be prevented from rotating.
- Shock and impact loads must be avoided, even on threaded lifting pins that are not in use.
- The full mobility of the shackle must be guaranteed.
- Damaged ball bearing pins must not be used.
- The load values F1 / F2 / F3 (data sheet table) apply to lifting in a steel support.
Operating temperature range max.: 250 °C,
for M24 from 150°C linear reduction of load capacity.
