suitable for outdoor use.
Pressing = unlocking
The SM 1273-836 threaded lifting pins are quick and easy to use, robust lifting elements with a handle.
To lift loads, the threaded lifting pin is inserted into a threaded hole.
In contrast to an eyebolt, there is no need for time-consuming screwing and unscrewing.
Assembly:
Press the button in and hold it down | insert the threaded lifting pin | release the button (The button must be in the initial position again.
A clearly visible green marking on the push button indicates the correct position). | Tighten the threaded support bolt by hand,
until it is fully seated on the contact surface. | Make sure that the threaded segments are engaged in the mounting thread.
The knob (A) is locked when it is sprung back into its original position by the spring force and the green marking is clearly visible.
Do not operate the knob under load.
Disassembly:
Unscrew the threaded carrying bolt approx. a quarter turn counterclockwise | push in the knob and hold it down | pull out the threaded carrying bolt | release the knob.
Notes:
- Threaded lifting pins with handle are designed for manual lifting and holding of single loads (no persons!!).
- Threaded lifting pins with handle must not be attached to a crane, hoist or similar, but must only be carried by hand.
- Threaded lifting pins with handle are not suitable for continuous rotation of the load.
- Contamination (e.g. grinding sludge, oil and emulsion deposits, dust, etc.) can impair the function of threaded lifting pins with handles.
- Damaged threaded lifting pins with handle can lead to injuries.
- Before each use, threaded lifting pins with handle must be checked for visible defects (e.g. deformations).
(e.g. deformations, fractures, cracks, damage, missing threaded elements, corrosion, unlocking function).
- Threaded studs with a handle must be fully screwed into a thread containing a gauge
and be in full contact with the bearing surface.
- When inserting a threaded lifting pin with handle, the load must be prevented from rotating.
- Shock and impact loads must also be avoided on threaded lifting pins with handles that are not in use.
- Damaged threaded lifting pins with handle must no longer be used.
- Functional test: The threaded elements must lock automatically due to the spring force.
Operating temperature range max.: 250 °C.
