in INCH dimensions

Material:
push button: Aluminium, orange anodized
spring: stainless steel
ST:
pin part / shackle: heat-treated steel, tempered, manganese-phosphated
threaded element: stainless steel 1.4542, precipitation-hardened
NI:
pin part: stainless steel 1.4542, precipitation-hardened
shackle: stainless steel 1.4571
threaded element: stainless steel 1.4542, precipitation-hardened

The threaded studs SM 1273-834 made of steel and stainless steel are corrosion-protected.
Due to their improved corrosion and weather resistance, the stainless steel variants are
well suited for outdoor use.

Pressing = unlocking
The SM 1273-834 threaded lifting pins are quick and easy to use, robust load-bearing elements with a movable shackle.
Pressing the actuating button releases the locking of the threaded segments
and the load-bearing bolt can be moved in and out of the mounting thread.
This eliminates the time-consuming screwing in and unscrewing as with an eyebolt, for example.
A safety bar protects the actuating button against unintentional release.
No special carrying aids required on the workpiece.

Assembly:
Threaded studs must be inserted into threads that are true to gauge.
Press in the button and hold it down | Insert the threaded stud | Release the button (the button must be in the initial position again.) | Turn the threaded stud by hand until it rests fully on the contact surface. | It must be ensured that the threaded segments are engaged in the mounting thread.
The knob (A) is locked when it is sprung back into its initial position by the spring force.
Do not operate the knob under load!
Disassembly:
Turn the threaded carrying bolt approx. a quarter of a turn in the opposite direction. turn counterclockwise a quarter of a turn | push in the knob and hold it down | pull out the threaded lifting pin | release the knob.

Notes:
- Threaded lifting pins are designed for lifting and holding individual loads (no people!!).
- Threaded lifting pins are not suitable for continuous rotation of the load.
- Contamination (e.g. grinding sludge, oil and emulsion deposits, dust...) can impair the function of threaded lifting pins.
- Before each use, threaded lifting pins must be inspected for visible defects (e.g. deformation, fractures, cracks, damage, missing balls, corrosion, unlocking function).
- Threaded lifting pins must be fully screwed into a thread containing a gauge and must be in full contact with the bearing surface.
- When inserting a threaded lifting pin, the rotation of the load must be prevented.
- Shock and impact loads must be avoided, even on threaded lifting pins that are not in use.
- The full mobility of the shackle must be ensured.
- Damaged threaded lifting pins may no longer be used.
- The load values F1 / F2 / F3 (table data sheet) apply to lifting in a steel holder.

Operating temperature range max.: 250 °C.

Compliance:
RoHS-compliant: yes - Contains lead - Compliant according to exceptions 6a / 6b / 6c.
Contains SVHC substances >0.1% w/w - SVHC list [REACH] as of 25.06.2025.
Contains Proposition 65 substances.
Free of conflict minerals.
