The positioning bushings SM 1273-54 and SM 1273-55 with conical bore are used forthe detent bore of indexing plungers SM 1273-51 and allow precise positioning.The length l7 of the indexing pin is determined by the depth of penetration of the indexingpin into the cone of the bushing. The length l8 must ensure complete disengagement of the indexing pin. When engaged, the pin must have at least 0.5 mm residual stroke so that the conical part of the pin is seated in the cone of the positioning bush without play.To accommodate the positioning bushings (outer Ø with tolerance n6), the locating holes hould have tolerance H7.
