Product information "Guide bushing, conical | SM 1273-55"

with collar
with conical bore
for indexing plungers SM 1273-51

Material:
ST: special steel
hardened (HRC 62 ±2) and ground
NI: stainless steel
hardened and ground

The positioning bushings SM 1273-54 and SM 1273-55 with conical bore are used for
the detent bore of indexing plungers SM 1273-51 and allow precise positioning.
The length l7 of the indexing pin is determined by the depth of penetration of the indexing
pin into the cone of the bushing.
The length l8 must ensure complete disengagement of the indexing pin.
When engaged, the pin must have at least 0.5 mm residual stroke so that the conical part of the pin is seated in the cone of the positioning bush without play.
To accommodate the positioning bushings (outer Ø with tolerance n6), the locating holes hould have tolerance H7.

RoHS-compliant: yes

Compliance: RoHS compliant
Material: Stainless steel, Steel
Speciality: Bore - conical
Surface: bright, slide ground
Type of use: Bushings, Indexing plunger / indexing pin

The positioning bushes are used to guide the bolt and for the locating hole.Longer guide lengths also increase precision.Design and assembly instructionsThere are two bolt lengths l1 for each indexing plunger Ø d1. The length l7 is determined by the penetration depth of the indexing plunger into the cone of the bushing. The length l8 must ensure that the locking pin disengages completely. The bushing length, plate thickness and any gap can be selected within certain limits. When engaged, the pin must have at least 0.5 mm residual stroke so that the conical part of the pin is seated in the cone of the positioning bush without play. Safe residual stroke: l9 = l1 - 0.5 mm.A locating bore with tolerance H7 is usually provided to accommodate the positioning bushes (outer Ø with tolerance n6). Form C with detent lock is used if the detent pin should not protrude temporarily. The knob is rotated by 90° after the locking pin has been retracted and held in this position by a locking notch.
