Quick-release star grips SM 1196-2 made of aluminum with steel bushings are used
when no high clamping forces are required or
when the handle needs to be completely removed after loosening and quickly returned to the clamping position.

The handle is slanted onto the threaded bolt.
When clamping, the thread (the function is achieved via a half-sided thread) engages in the threads of the bolt.
Clamping can now be carried out with a slight turn.
The clamping surface must be at right angles to the threaded bolt to ensure full functional reliability of the quick-release handle.
The threaded bolt should be a few mm longer than the height of the handle.

Vibration can cause the parts to loosen; they are not suitable for high clamping forces.
