Quick release nut

Material:
ST: steel, property class 5, blackened
NI: stainless steel 1.4305 / AISI 303, matte shot-blasted

Quick-release knurled nuts are used when the nut needs to be completely removed after loosening and quickly returned to the clamping position.
The knurled nut is pushed onto the threaded bolt at oblique.
When tightening, the nut engages in the threads of the bolt.
The connection is only reliable if the clamping surface is at right angles to the threaded bolt.
The knurling of the knobs ensures a good grip and ease of handling.

When clamping, the thread (the function is achieved via a half-sided thread) engages in the threads of the bolt. Clamping is achieved with a slight turn.Functional reliability is only guaranteed if the clamping surface is at right angles to the threaded bolt. The threaded bolt should be a few mm longer than the height of the handle.
